Zafar Iqbal

One of the most talented tour guides, Zafar Iqbal hails from Hunza, is known for its stunning natural beauty, including glaciers, mountains, and valleys. He studied to his bachelor degree from Government College, Hunza. He received an advanced certificate in German language from the National University of Modern Languages in Islamabad. Later, in 1990, he began his job as a guide with several tour groups in Pakistan. He leads team into the mountains and to high positions on glaciers as well. Additionally, he has participated in a number of climbing training sessions in Pakistan. 

Zafar has a wealth of knowledge and experience of the historical sites of Pakistan. For the clients’ safety and enjoyment, he can evaluate the tours conditions and change the schedule as needed. Along with knowledge on the history and geology of the region, he can also offer advice on local etiquette and customs.
